Chin Check

Yo don't get wrecked by the chin check. We all know what's up, to some degree or other we feel it, we see it. We might not have a full grasp on things, or we might be able to systematically pin point each and every element. We're made to feel that there isn't many of us. that we are a tiny faction and minority, but we're more divided then scattered. The division is in our head and we can't see the love that the next person is giving and we don't recongnize our own great gifts and will to do good on an ongoing basis. These are all things that blow away in seconds.. . "it's funny how things can change over night when your thinkin right" (Xzibit, in the song Get you walk on)

I’m meaning this
my intention and thought
I’m givin it up to God
and making sure the noise is brought
cuz we’re being caught, caged, and sold
we gotta loosen the hold

the meek inherit the earth
and I recognize that I’m bold
but I’m coming with patience and humility
and also courage and my ability
the fight is being fought on all fronts
fightin father figures

but our triggers clap out words
and our killers draw out worlds
different from those that are imagined
through capitalistic school books
take looks.... . real looks
at the things you tooks
and all the false rules
