Warm soft blanket
You're a warm Cuban breeze
A shaded summer nap
The cuddle of a muzzle
A tail in the face while you dream
Waking up to kisses
Sunset warmth
Inside of the forearm hold
An oven open
A sunny window nap
A gentle hand on the cheek
A full body hug
Two pairs of socks and boots in deep snow
A scarf wrapped twice around your face
A long sleeve shirt
And a hooded sweater
A floor heater on bare foot feet

A sleeping baby
A hot comforting shower
A soothing hot tea
A sun splashed piece of carpet
A fitted cocoon
A call that came soon
A knowing
Of safety and shelter
Of soft comfort and care
Of lasting protection
And endless dreams
